Tweet your twavatar
This is cool. Listen up...
You can change your twavatar just by tweeting from your favorite twitter application. Here's how:(1) You must have already made at least one twavatar and are currently logged into twavatars.com. Even if your browser itself is closed and your computer is shut down, that's OK as long as you never logged out.
(2) Then all you have to do is send us a direct message with your commands (as shown below) and we will obey :-) It can take up to 10 minutes to see the change on your twavatar on twitter.com.
Step-by-step:
- To change only the text on your twavatar (10 characters or less), using the same colors and position as your earlier twavatar, format your direct message exactly like this, entering your new text inside quotation marks:D twavatars "New Text"
- To change the text color and the text itself, use this format:
D twavatars "New Text" (text red)Color names you can use are: aqua, black, blue, cyan, gray, green, lime, orange, purple, red, white, yellow or hexadecimal specs like #FF0000, including the hashtag. For transparent (invisible) bubbles use the word clear (because it's shorter and easy to type on a mobile :-)
- To change the position of the bubble and the text, tweet this:
D twavatars (bubble top) "New Text"Positions can be either: top or bottom
- The commands can be placed in any order -- it doesn't matter as long as you put the word bubble in one set of parentheses and text in the other. As an example, these two tweets would have the exact same result:
D twavatars (text yellow)(top black bubble) "HelloWorld"
D twavatars (bubble black top) "HelloWorld" (yellow text)
And any value that you don't change in the tweet will remain the same as your last twavatar.
